Club History

WELCOME TO SUDBURNIA SOCCER CLUB!

Sudburnia Soccer Club, founded in 1980 by dedicated visionaries, has been a cornerstone of youth soccer in our community for 45 seasons. Established as a recreational league for boys and girls, the club introduced executive membership in 1986 to strengthen its foundation.

Today, under the leadership of Head Coach Brian Ashton, a former Team Canada player, we continue to promote skill development, teamwork, and a love for the game. Sudburnia is committed to long-term participation for all participants, providing a place for players of all skill levels to begin their soccer journey, learn new skills to improve their game and grow as a player within our soccer community. Sudburnia is proud to offer an environment dedicated to fostering an inclusive environment open to families from all backgrounds and skill levels. As we celebrate our 45th season in 2025, we invite players, coaches, and parents to join us for another exciting summer of soccer. Our history reflects the passion and dedication of our volunteers and members—past and present.
